Why is this important?
Raising children comes with a range of emotions and generally requires work and patience. Parents with good mental and emotional health may be better positioned to deal with the difficulties that sometimes come with raising children. A parent's health may affect the health of their child, underlying the importance of good health among mothers and fathers.
