RAMTRIX-II
The purpose of the RCMI Multidisciplinary and Translational Research Infrastructure eXpansion (RMATRIX)-II is to foster clinical and translational health disparities research, build institutional and community research synergy and advance the career development and mentoring of health disparities investigators. RMATRIX-II will support the Community of Investigators at the University of Hawaii with emphasis on:
- Pilot Project Investigators
- Junior Investigators and Post Docs who have not had an NIH R01 award
- Minority Researchers
- Research that focuses on RMATRIX-II priority HEALTH areas:
1. Nutrition & Metabolic
2. Growth, Development & Reproductive Health
3. Aging & Chronic Diseases Prevention/Management
-Research that examines/focuses on priority populations (Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, and Filipino) on the island of O'ahu
- Junior Investigators and Post Docs who have not had an NIH R01 award
