Publication: Best Practices for Chiropractic

A Good Idea

Description

The CCGPP is writing an evidence-based best practices publication in order to identify efficacious procedures on which to base informed health care decisions for chiropractic doctors, patients, payors and other stakeholders.

Goal / Mission

The publication will address the disparity of best practices information for certain types of spinal and neuromusculoskeletal conditions.

Results / Accomplishments

The first chapter of the document is written and teams for other sections are assembling data and working on successive chapters and are on schedule at the present time. The first draft of the low back section was completed in November 2004 and is again being revised. It will be released to all stakeholders via the internet for pre-publication commentary in the next few months.
