Why is this important?

Adults who are sedentary are at an increased risk of many serious health conditions. These conditions include obesity, heart disease, diabetes, colon cancer, and hypertension. Getting regular physical activity is one of the most important ways that people of all ages can improve their health. Physical activity can help delay, prevent, or manage many chronic diseases.
