| Description |
The goal of the New Moms Network is to provide a helpful and supportive environment for new parents. This program targets new parents living in Brattleboro, Vermont and is offered at no-cost.
Moms (and/or dads) meet every week for an hour and a half to discuss various topics, receive education from community experts, and support each other. Topics covered include breastfeeding, sleeping patterns, immunizations, feelings associated with motherhood, lead exposure, and many more.

| Results / Accomplishments |
Approximately 12 to 15 mothers attend the New Moms Network each week. Program coordinators report that breastfeeding rates have increased. Another benefit is that other local maternal/fetal programs receive extra exposure because of this support group. |
